This week's Stamp Something challenge is Animal Somethings, we are sponsored this week by Louby Loo's Digital Delights who have donated a ten dollar voucher to use in their online store for this week's winner. Go and have a look - they have some really cute digi stamps and let us use their new farm images for this week's DT cards.
I had fun making this one, the papers are from K&Co, the ribbon came from Hobbycraft, the sentiment was from Cuddly Buddly and the two brads were a gift from a crafty friend.

Dare U 2 Digistamp challenge
Made this card with my latest Digi Stamp and because the colours fit in well with their scheme of blue, green and cream or white, I'm entering it for this weeks DU2DS challenge, I used a Papermania paper, some white grosgrain ribbon, and a Funstamps snowflake stamp directly onto the white cardstock. A touch of glitter on Snowbaby's hood and cuffs and also on the 'ground' just finish it off.

2 challenges today
Made a card that fits 2 challenges - unusual for me I only really ever try one at a time but not today - I am entering this card into the Pink Elephant challenge, following their sketch
and also the Whimsy Stamps Challenge because their theme is A Touch of Sparkle although I have to add that my sparkle is pretty minimal!
Anyway this is the card I made, the image is A Little Hug by Leanne Ellis available at Funky Kits, the image was coloured with Promarkers & the backing papers are from a K&Co Classic K McKenna 6x6" pad. The sentiment is from Papermania and the other bits are from my stash. The teeny bit of sparkle (hope you can see it!) is Stickles on the skirt and the rose :)

Creative Inspirations week 15
This week's challenge on Creative Inspirations blog is Stitching - well I struggled for ages with my sewing machine but in the end I had to admit defeat and use faux stitching as the d---- thing would just not co-operate! I think it's never been right since I first had it and I think I might just ask Santa for a nice new, simple, unfancy, straightforward, easy to use little machine for Christmas :o)
Anyway I used my Dexter the Bear image from Sugar Nellie for this week's card, along with papers from My Mind's Eye Bloom & Grow set. I added some stitched ribbon, a couple of buttons from my button box and a sentiment from Woodware.

Anyone for Anya
Anyone for Anya is a new challenge blog for anyone who loves Anya and friends and their first challenge today is Sugar and Spice & All Things Nice.
I was going for a girlie look with my card, I loved the ribbon I found in Helio's Fountain in Edinburgh's Grassmarket the other day and wanted to make it a feature on a card so I coloured Miss Anya to match the ribbon and used the summery papers from the Papermania Secret Garden set again, stamped some swirls and added a little doodling. The sentiment came from Paper Makeup Stamps.

Birthday Somethings
Create a Birthday card is the theme for this week's Stamp Something Challenge. I have made mine using a lovely Leanne Ellis image 'Blossom' available from Funky Kits and a really funky background paper from Papermania's Secret Garden Pad - I really love the colour combo on this one!
This week's sponsor is SNR Magazine and the winner of the challenge will get a three month subscription to the magazine.

Basic Grey New Challenge no 1
Basic Grey have relaunched their challenge blog with a new look and a brand new sketch challenge designed by design team member Tara G, the Design Team cards are so beautiful I really felt inspired to make a card of my own.
The image is of course a Gorjuss Girl from Funky Kits and my backing papers are from the BG Sugared collection.
Have to go now as I have a special card to make for my youngest son's 14th birthday tomorrow and a few new images to scan for my digital stamp collection - keep an eye on my sidebar for updates!

Christmas challenge at My Time to Craft
I'm really in the Christmas card groove at the moment - I'll have them all done by the end of August at this rate! I made another one for the My Time to Craft challenge using one of my new digital stamps Pogo Penguin. I coloured him with Promarkers and used ribbon by Barbara Walton and backing papers from Papermania.

A few Christmas cards and a new Etsy shop
I have been working on a few images recently, as I said in an earlier post, which I want to have made into stamps. But while I am getting costs and info about that process I have, just last night, created an Etsy shop to sell Digital Stamps of the first few images. These are all Christmas designs which I have used to make the following cards. I have several more in the pipeline - not all Christmassy ones - but I thought I'd get the first few out there to see what (if any) reaction I get! Here are the cards:
I also plan to sell a few more of my handcrafted items in the shop, look out for Stained Glass fairies, Jewellery and whatever else I can think of to produce!
As a little promotion for my images I will give a free copy of one of my images to the first four bloggers who comment as long as they are prepared to make me a card in return to show them off - how's that for an offer!

Stamp Something - Summer Vacation
The theme this week on the Stamp Something challenge is Summer Vacation (just what I could do with!). My DT card is stamped with with images from a Seaside set of stamps. I used distress inks to colour the card and spritzed with some water for a watery effect, I then stamped my images and coloured them with just a touch of Promarker.
The background paper I've had so long I can no longer remember where it came from but I used it because it reminded me of deckchairs! The punched border was a Sizzix die cut and I threaded some ribbon through it. I got the sentiment from a little set of stamps by River City and the fishy embellishments came from a set I bought at the last Stamp show at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge 18
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp's challenge this time is to use distressing techniques on your project so I have used a gorgeous freebie digi stamp 'Star Fairy' from Claire over at Crafty Bitz, coloured with my Promarkers. I used Distress Inks to colour the background card and used the edge of my ruler to give it a rough finish, the backing paper from a K@Co pad was sanded round the edge and I used some offcuts and inked the edges to make the flowers adding a couple of buttons to finish them off.

Passion for Promarkers - week 11 challenge
For this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers you could choose your own colours so for someone like me who doesn't even have half of the available colours this was was perfect for me!
I used a Fairy Doodles image and coloured it with Pastel Blue, Pastel Green, Lilac, Blossom, Olive Green, Apricot, Vanilla, Ivory and Blush - a lot of colours for such a small image!!
The Backing papers were all from a K&Co Recycled Stack in Earth Browns, the flowers were a mixture from my stash and I added some holographic embossing powder to the tiny brads for a little sparkle to match the fairy's wings. The tag was also from The K&Co paper stack and I'm not sure where the watering can charm came from but it seemed appropriate.

Creative Inspirations Challenge 15
This is my Design Team card for the Creative Inspirations challenge No 15.
This week the challenge theme is Tags and the Design Team have done some fabulous work - it's well worth going to have a look and entering the challenge, this week's winner will be Guest Designer for the whole of September.
The large and small tags on my card were coloured with Ranger Distress Inks and spritzed with a mix of water and Blonde Moments Pearl Pigments, the backing paper is from a Papermania Secret Garden 6"x6" pad. The stamped images are from PSX (the seahorse) and Rubber Stampede (Sea Tags).

Charmed Somethings
This week's challenge on Stamp Something is to use charms, either bought or handmade, on your project. Go on over and take a look at the Design Team cards which are all gorgeous this week. The challenge is sponsored by Quixotic Paperie who, as well as charms, sell a great range of stamps and papers.
I have used an image from Sketching Stamper and coloured it with Promarkers, used Stickles for the glitz and Glossy Accents to finish it off. The flowers were punched from Pearlescent card and embellished with paper roses, I'm afraid I've forgotten where I got the backing paper but I know the swirly one was downloaded - perhaps from Pink Petticoat(?)
I plan to give this card to my lovely niece Emma who will be 21 next week. Happy Birthday Emma!

Passion for Promarkers Challenge
I've been meaning to enter the Passion for Promarkers challenge for a while now but each time I've had either the time or I've actually remembered to check, the colours have been ones that I've not had, but this week the colours are Pastel Pink and Cool Aqua and I do have both colours - woohoo! So finally I've managed to take part in the challenge and here is my card.
The image is one I've designed myself and plan to have it made into a rubber stamp very soon - I've been working on a few images that I'm planning to have made into stamps now that Southfield have the facility to make polymer stamps. I've used backing papers from Basic Grey, a sentiment from Funky Kits and ribbon, button and flowers from my stash.
