Managed to find time yesterday to do a bit of scrapping. Even though I go to Scrapbooking Group twice a month I don't always have much time to get a layout done, seem to spend more time teaching a technique or looking at what the others have done. However I saw a sketch on the Trimcraft forum which I thought I'd like to try and here is the result.
My lovely daughter Lynsey was bridesmaid for one of her friends last year and typically wore black! The journaling reads: When Susie asked you to be one of her bridesmaids I pictured you in pink or peach or some other traditional bridesmaid colours - I should have known better don't you think?
I think she looked stunning in black!
I have used Papermania backing paper and the torn paper is from Southfield Stationers (where I will be demonstrating next Saturday 28th Feb), the lace is from my stash and I made the flowers from black card which I stamped with Versamark and brushed with Pearl Pigments from Blonde Moments.

This is a beautiful layout of your daughter and such a lovely reminder of what was obviously a very happy day x
This is just beautiful, as you may know I am a scrapper too, don't get too much time to play but this is just lovely, you have inspired me to go do a page, thanks. Hope your weekend has been fun! Heidi xx
